What snapcalcs provides
snapcalcs.co.uk provides free online calculators for common UK financial questions — VAT, income tax, National Insurance, salary conversion, mortgage, and savings. The calculators are provided as-is, free of charge, with no signup required.
Not financial advice
These calculators provide estimates based on standard tax codes. They should not be considered financial advice. Always consult a qualified accountant for your specific circumstances.
Calculations use rates and thresholds for the 2026/27 tax year for England, Wales, and Northern Ireland. Scotland operates different income tax bands, which are not reflected in the default calculations. Student loan repayments, pension contributions, benefits in kind, salary sacrifice, and other deductions are not included unless a calculator explicitly says so.
Actual figures on your payslip, tax bill, or mortgage statement may differ. Always refer to HMRC, your payroll provider, your lender, or a qualified professional before making financial decisions.
Accuracy
We make reasonable efforts to keep rates and thresholds up to date with official HMRC figures. However, snapcalcs makes no warranty — express or implied — that any calculator, figure, or piece of content on this site is accurate, current, or fit for a particular purpose. If you spot an error, please email hello@snapcalcs.co.uk.
Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, snapcalcs and its operators are not liable for any loss, damage, or cost arising from your use of the site or reliance on any calculation. You use the calculators at your own risk.
Acceptable use
